CCGHKC Service Centre (“the Centre”) was officially opened on 11th October, 2021. The Centre aims to provide support to members of the CCGHKC and all invited non-governmental organizations that plan to have their base in Guangzhou Nansha to promote cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.
The officiating guests at the opening ceremony included Mr Leung Chun-ying, the vice-chairman of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference & consultant of the CCGHKC, Mr Zhang Shuofu, the standing member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, Mr Huang Ning, head of the United Front Work Department, Mr Pan Jianguo, the municipal committee member & chief secretary of Guangzhou, Mr Lu Yixian, the municipal committee member of Guangzhou and party secretary of Nansha District, and the committee director of the CCGHKC, Mr Yue Yi.
In the opening ceremony, Mr Leung said the goal of the Service Centre is to pool together the non government organizations from different sectors in Hong Kong, to play a cluster effect in Nansha to promote constant Guangdong-Hong Kong exchanges as well as to explore more development opportunities through the establishment of the Service Centre.
The director of the CCGHKC, Mr Yue Yi also stated in his speech that, the Service Centre would facilitate Hong Kong’s integration into the Greater Bay Area, provide a variety of constant, practical services & consultations and conduct studies to lead a continuous and in-depth development of the integration of the Greater Bay Area.
The Service Centre is located at the Innovation Bay, Guangzhou Nansha, which enjoys convenient transport and pleasant environment. Covering a total area of around 10,000 sq ft including office area, conference facilities and multi-purpose areas, the Service Centre not only provide free venues, facilities and office support, but also point-to-point contact to the members in need.
